SAARF® LSM TRAINING - JHB

LSM TRAINING

SAARF will be conducting the Living Standards Measure training in Johannesburg on Tuesday, 12 October 2010.

The content of the workshop will cover the following:

· History / Development of LSM®

· Early LSM®

· 1993 /1995 /2000 LSM®

· New SAARF LSM® and LSM® Extensions

· SAARF Segmentation Tools (SAARF MGMs, SAARF Lifestyles, SAARF Lifestages and SAARF Attitude Groups)

Attendees will be informed of the stimuli/background that led to the thrust to develop the LSM and its evolution over the years. This will also include coverage of the updates which happened from time to time in the variables and weights as well as the motivation behind the increase in the number of variables over time.

Details about the descriptors of each LSM® group and how they changed since the introduction of the LSMs in 2001 will also be given.

Finally, an overview of SAARF’s other segmentation tools will be covered.

The duration will be approximately three hours and delegates are requested to bring a calculator with them, as we will also take them through a ‘do it yourself’ exercise to determine their own LSM® group.

All attendees will receive a SAARF Segmentation CD (free of charge).
