THE SAARF BMR PRESENTATION

Dear Stakeholder

SAARF updates the population profile of the South African universe that we weight our studies to once a year. To do the updates, SAARF contracts the Demographic Division of the Bureau of Market Research (BMR). Over the last year or two, new information and better estimates, for example on AIDS and the impact it has on population growth, have become available. This information has now been used in the latest population projections by the BMR.

Bearing the above in mind SAARF has invited the BMR to come and do a presentation to the industry on their latest population updates. The presentation will be on Monday 13 September 2010 at the Bryanston Country Club starting promptly at 14:30. The presentation will last approximately an hour.
